Okay, so you’ve established you’re going to Elope, but WHY on earth would you need a photographer with you all day if you’re not doing the big traditional thing?
The thing is, just because you aren’t having a big celebration with lots of people, doesn’t mean your wedding day will lack in beautiful, exciting and meaningful moments. The reality is the two of you are still going to get ready, get dressed, see each other for the first time, exchange vows, words and maybe even letters. You’ll exchange rings. Have a first kiss. Maybe a first dance. Eat food. You’ll laugh lots and probably cry too. And if you let me guide you, you’ll most definitely have beautiful landscapes you’ll want to remember.
Elopements are just a quick "not a big deal" type of thing, right?
Wrong.
As your elopement photographer, I’m doing so much more than snapping a few quick photos of you two. I’m here to help you plan the day of your dreams, guide you through the process and document your love story and your adventure from start to finish.
All the moments and the special details that made your day ‘yours’, they all belong to the story of your wedding day.
So how much is eloping going to cost me?
When you’re planning your elopement or intimate wedding, of course how much you’re spending is an important factor. A good way to look at elopements vs traditional weddings is quality over quantity. Traditional weddings eat up so much money through venue costs, catering, decor etc. and of course the higher the guest count, the higher the cost. When you elope, there are minimal guests, vendors + costs, so you can really go all out!

An average traditional wedding in Canada (according to Wedding Wire) costs almost $30 000.
An epic elopement experience can cost anywhere between $10-$15 000.

Your experience begins from the time you hit submit on my contact form, and we schedule our first call. Once we decide we are a good fit and make things official, the planning begins.

I take the time to really get to know you both through custom questionnaires and lots of communication so I can understand what's important to you as a couple. I craft a custom location list based on your interests and what you share with me.
Whether you choose to elope or have a small intimate wedding, I will not only be your photographer, but also your guide and personal consultant.
WHAT TO EXPECT

Once a location is determined, I create a personalized timeline to fit everything you want into your day and nothing that you don’t. I also provide you with vendor recommendations based on what you want (remember, you can literally have anything you want - go big or go home).

Ontario is a large province often given way less credit than it deserves. It’s full of beautiful parks, gorgeous great lakes and loads of waterfalls. You could say your vows on a dock at sunset, or maybe in front of the clear turquoise waters somewhere along the stunning Bruce Peninsula.

This world is big and beautiful and no matter where you go, beautiful places exist. Having visited 20 countries on 6 different continents, I can assure you there is no shortage of places that will blow you away. I’ll make suggestions and give you options. Imagine getting your photos back from your wedding, and not only are you so in love with them because it was your wedding, but then behind you is this jaw dropping scenery you thought only existed in magazines and instagram. I will find, plan and photograph the entire experience so you can always remember it as it was.

Just because you aren’t married doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate your love and document a point in time in your relationship. Many of the couples that work with me want to turn up the heat, and create art through an intimate experience together. Share your vision with me and I’ll do the rest.
